HE WILL DO THIS
Sitting still, doing nothing e xcept trusting in the Lord, causes a feeling of uncertainty! Especially when we look out into the world and today’s report is flying drones the size of a car! What a tremendous temptation to take the battle into our own hands. He will do this. (Psalm 37:5) All this takes time. As I reflect, I realize the enemy is working hard to shape the landscape but we have already tilled the ground, sown the seeds and now we wait and trust until God’s purposes are fulfilled. We understand this principle when it comes to planting a garden, and we need to learn the same lesson regarding our prayer life. It takes time for God to answer prayer. The hardest part, even with faith in The Lord is waiting for his timing is not ours. Each time we pick up the battle, I am reminded by His Spirit the Lord does not fight our battles when we insist upon trying to fight them ourselves.
