BEYOND THE VESTIBULE
“ There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.” Genesis 7:9-10 The reality of Noah’s Flood is one water cleansed the world, literally and figuratively. It washed away the poison of the forbidden fruit taken so long ago in the garden. It brought death, but it also kept alive the hope of another water—that of everlasting life. It’s a water that comes to cleanses one’s soul of the selfish-self so that the immortal self may reawaken from its “ long slumber .” —on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. ” Genesis 7:11 This week I was given a vision that challenges us to build our spiritual ark like Noah.
