It first appears when we are tiny children. Yet our attention has been deliberately adverted to our ambitions, affections, tastes and prejudices are all fighting for our attention. It’s not until our poor worried consciousness awakens to the world that has defined it, that our significance becomes seen for it’s frittered and refracted embedded values with incompatible interests, of people, principles and things.
