THE CRUSHING IS THE WAY
“ To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” — 1 Samuel 15:22 In the fields of everyday life, there lies an invisible altar—and on it, surrender & obedience becomes the offering that pleases God most and there are no shortcuts through Gethsemane. “ Teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you.” Matt 28:18-20 (TPT) The crushing cannot be bypassed. The pressing cannot be avoided. Just as olives must be crushed to release their precious oil, we too often experience emotional, spiritual, or personal crushing before God’s oil can flow. While the crushing is painful, it is not meant to destroy us; instead, it is a refining process to shape us, to purge our impurities, and prepares us for our purpose.
