WALLS OF LIMITATIONS
The Lord Said, “Your walls of limitations are coming down.”
He’ll take charge of sending the rain at the right time, both autumn and spring rains, so that you’ll be able to harvest your grain, your grapes, your olives. Deuteronomy 11:14 (MSG)
Deuteronomy 11:4 serves as a powerful reminder of God's enduring ability to deliver His people from seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
In essence, our walls are built for protection—to keep invaders from coming in and changing the comfortable life that you have created. Some are built slowly from childhood where you are taught by others to fear and to keep safe from harm. These same walls become galleries for signposts that say, “keep-out,” “unsolicited advice unwelcome,” “I’ve seen this before and it will not end well.”
After many years these walls and signposts become the excuses for a life of stagnation. The neuron-pathways in the brain become very deep and wide—well-worn, and new thoughts and ideas have little or no chance of finding higher ground.
These walls are formed early in childhood by our fear based conditioning of the world. The additional walls we build from our injuries, result of past failures, rejection, and adult fears of low self-esteem (not being good enough). Other walls are erected when we react to injuries of the ego and these layers may exist to keep one from being vulnerable or curious about what lies ahead if one were to become open to change. It’s a complex system of barriers that can easily turn one’s life into a maze making it difficult to find a way out and to allow love ….
However these walls that limit us are not real barriers. They are an illusion—a negative narrative we repeat to ourselves every day. And the good news is, we have the power to tear them down.
My Dream:
In my dream I am sleeping and I get up to go to the restroom and my entire bathroom is filled with Ajax, a cleaning agent. I thought if my husband poured all of this Ajax, he’s cleaning it up! I head downstairs for a drink of water and find what I thought was Ajax powder to be shaving from my interior walls.
I remember feeling such relief. And just about that time, a couple comes into the room all dressed in white with a dust mop and vacuum. A second couple suddenly appear and they too are all in white, begin washing the walls and finally a 3rd couple appears to polish the walls.
I just stood there watching all this activity. They are all professionals who worked quickly, quietly and efficiently to expose the most magnificent glorious light. It was a huge transformation and I remember thinking how dark my house must have been before my walls were cleaned and then I woke up at 2:22.
After researching this whole event, the Lord planted in my heart that this was the same heavenly technology released through Joshua when he brought down the walls of Jericho. Joshua 6:1-27 (KJV)
But, I couldn’t help to notice the pattern of the number 2. The Hebrew letter for 2 is “Bet” which means “House, temple, and Tabernacle” It means the coming together as ONE of the House (body) Temple (mind) Tabernacle (spirit).
The 2:22 on the clock is associated with balance, collaboration, love, and harmony. When walls come down your body, mind and spirit work in harmony!
The numerical value of the Hebrew letters that make up the word for “first-born” is 222. Therefore, the number 222 may be associated with a first-born child, and the honor, power, and privilege and responsibility which comes with being the first-born. Jesus was “first-born” amongst many brethren… and we ARE those many brethren.
The number 222 could prophesy that God will soon reveal Himself through miracles and wonders. It could also be a sign that you are a good and faithful servant of the Lord. The number 222 is also associated with being the first-born (first-born amongst many brethren i.e., Christlikeness,) , or perhaps of having a lot of responsibility, like that of a first-born child. Acts 2:22
My question today… is there a way for you to break free from these hardened wall of limitations?
We as humans put limitation on ourselves that prevents us from accessing spiritual help that is available to us. The second part of my dream and I’ll save you the details, contains a hungry grizzly bear who comes to devour me in my dreams. I have great news, after my wall cleaning, I tamed that grizzly bear! He now walks beside me on a leash! Ha! That’s wall cleaning!
So, I believe these walls are the limiting factor that prevents the Indwelling Spirit of God where our mind, body and spirit work in unity.
These walls of limitation are built-up over time to shut out the light, but there is a way to begin to knock holes in them to allow a glimpse into a brighter future where growth, light, and love of YAH becomes a daily way of life!
What a world we would have if you and I had the love of Christ indwelling every single day. Our media would not be a picture of fear but of LOVE, Peace & Joy to be shared by all! Hallelujah! Thank you Yahweh!
Today let’s speak to our limitations - let this be an invitation to be brave enough to look within, to admit that you have self-created limitations, and to be brave enough to tear them down and allow the Light of the LORD to shine over every obstacle. Give yourself permission to find you walls of limitation so you can be led to freedom. Open your heart and ask God for what you need, even if you don’t know what that is and allow The Holy Spirit to show you how to have a more abundant life. It begins with being open to receive guidance and expect new opportunities to show up in your life. Make yourself vulnerable and believe that nothing can really harm you unless you allow it.
Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Ephesians 3:20 (TPT)
Prayer
Abba, thank You that in this hour, You are unveiling hidden mysteries— I am so grateful that we live in a time when You are giving us greater measures of authority in the spirit realm, in order to do what we have never done before. How magnificent You are and how great the display of Your splendor is on our behalf. I will remain in AWE of You all the days of my life. I recognize that My heart overflows with gratitude that You have entrusted me once again to release these mysteries into the body. I am forever thankful that we can walk in renewed revelation as You unfold Your divine plan for all humanity and the entire universe. Amen.
