EAGLE EYE WITHIN YOU

“There’s a private place reserved for the devoted lovers of YAHWEH, where they sit near Him and receive the revelation-secrets of His promises.” Psalm 25:14 (TPT)

Over and over as I encounter His Grace, I feel fortunate to be seized by it’s transforming force. It’s not anything I earn, or even deserve, His Grace has the power to do something in me that I could never do for myself.

His Grace is an invitation to live with our eyes open. It has this irresistible power to wipe away the dirt from the windows of our soul.  It comes to awaken us from our amnesia to see that we are children born of light.

Second Peter 1:3 says, “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” Notice that the Word says, “through the knowledge of him.” Knowledge is a portal, a doorway, to experience. Our eyes must be open and this is true for experiencing a measure of His Glory that begins with an encounter with him.

The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” Matthew 6:22

Yashua doesn’t want to just step in and change a moment and let things go back to normal. No, He wants to climb into your boat, sit with you in your garden and walk with you along your coastline!

As our surrender becomes easier, so does our focused connection and we discover that after all everything around us is a distraction.

Over and over, I find myself kneading bread in my dreams. Sometimes, I am in my kitchen, a restaurant or school, but each time it is a labor of love and a sure sign that I am surrendering more.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. John 6:35 (NASB)

You see, every time we choose truth over ego, stillness over reaction, forgiveness over bitterness, our inner flame brightens to become a fire cultivated over time.

It increases with purity, obedience, intimacy, and yieldedness.

When we walk in this flame, our presence becomes discernment. Our silence becomes revelation. Our sight reveals our sin barrier. In order to maintain your life in the Spirit, you must understand that sin does not pay. Spiritual things cannot walk hand in hand with sin. Sin and glory don’t mix. When sin and glory collide, it causes a spiritual reaction that produces conviction, repentance, judgment, or death. Death was the fate of Ananias and Sapphira in the book of Acts.

I discovered that I’m the best version of myself when I live aware of His presence. It begins with being mindful of each thought and emotion after it occurs. I actively eliminate the very first stirrings and thoughts of things that could lead to negative outcomes.

One thing to keep in mind: if we do not take these initial thoughts seriously, even if they're not harmful, we become careless about smaller ones. You can never hide sin from God. He’s omniscient and omnipresent. He knows and sees everything. Nothing is hidden from His scrutiny. Nothing is released from His rule. Nothing bypasses His purposes. He is front and center—sovereignly not off in the wings to be called upon only when it is convenient.

It's challenging but your first requirement with God is to maintain your life with Him. And more important than anything else here is that you “be conformed to the image of His Son” (Romans 8:29). Instead of attacking the spirit of fear, concentrate on growing in love, because “perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18). Instead of praying against unbelief, develop your faith.

Having personal encounters with the Holy Spirit should be a normal occurrence for every one of us in our pursuit to know Him. That’s what I hope my blog will do for you—help you walk in the Spirit as a way of life that will never depart from you.

Some days may have different manifestations but most days you should count on the dance. It’s a tango where He pursues you, you respond and then you pursue Him and He responds to you. It’s a dance of joy! There are more realms of exploration that can be experienced with the Holy Spirit because you too are a spirit man. There is so much more of God available to you if only you will reach out and take hold of Him.

How do you do that? You take hold of and appropriate the clear teaching of His Word. “You search the Scriptures . . . these are they which testify of Me” (John 5:39).

As we journey, we are going to see paths that ascend and descend. We’re going to travel paths that are rockier than others. Some are more beautiful and peaceful than others. They are all important parts of the journey, but there are times when we come to a crossroads.

For some, entering the spirit world is a crossroad. You are comfortable knowing God from a distance. However, I believe a window in heaven has opened and it’s time to make the decision as to where you are going to go.

Life in the Spirit is serious business. You must be prepared to treat it that way. The realm of the Spirit does not begin with an experience or seeking out others who impress you with their expertise in spiritual matters. It begins on your knees with a decision to follow God. If you desire to live a successful life, your starting point must be God.

Some of you can see where the path goes, some of you may not. I hope you are listening because it’s important to recognize the path and the road sign that reads “Are you ready to surrender more?”

This road will expose your filters, dismantle your illusions, reorder your inner world until nothing remains but truth.

There are no shortcuts or false spirituality, no validation or payment for revelation or and refuse the temptation of calling our emotions the voice of God.

Each of us must choose the higher way, the path of refinement for it leads to transformation.

“Beloved, believe not every spirit but try the spirits whether they are of God.” 1 John 4:1

Be encouraged….Some things in life we push off for another convenient day by choosing to keep walking around the mountain. We do this for a lots of reasons: fear, unbelief, love of something else, comfort, money, selfishness, etc

All of these reasons delay what God has for us.

“For the Lord seeth not as man seeth. For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

God is very kind because He waits for us.

The spirit world is another dimension and its frequency has more substance than ours and it’s tangible and happening all around us all the time. Although it is mostly invisible to the average person it is still very real. We are not always aware of what is happening, but we can train our senses to be more in tune with it. (Hebrews 5:14)

“Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh.” 2 Corinthians 5:16

When Jesus steps into our boat, sits with us in our garden or walks with us us by the sea, He has a way about Him that makes storms bend a-knee! AND then He shows us how to do it for ourselves.  He intentionally alters you so that you can never be the same again.

“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” John 7:24

This is the season my dear friends that we must surrender more.

“The light of the body is the eye. If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22

The Spirit is forming an eagle eye within you, a vision that pierces illusion and unveils reality.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Be willing to Stand in this calling with reverence and authority.

You will not be deceived.

You will not misinterpret.

You will not project.

You will not fall into counterfeit revelation.

The Spirit Himself will train your sight.

You will discern without distortion and reveal without mixture. This is your portion as an elect.

Come up to the high call of God. Walk and live in the Spirit of our Lord. Church, wake up! Walk in it with holy fear and unshakable confidence.
