JESUS MAKES WAR

One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out Micah 2:13

A heart of Jesus is known to us when we enter great peace, even in the mist of a raging storm. His heart reveals His Face, but we feel Him move again to avoid becoming common with His Glory. The key is to move more, and more more into alignment to ascend upward towards God’s will so He can accomplish what is needed within us.
This takes yielding to every human emotion known to man, especially pride which defeats our anointing. Our minds must be arranged in such a way that it doesn’t face the world, but faces the heart of Jesus. As a young believer many were taught to say WWJD? What would Jesus do?

Each time, we take our minds off Jesus we are like Peter who began the impossible of walking on water to find himself sinking! What made him sink? Fear! The moment he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the raging waves and fear entered his heart and he started to sink, so he cried out to Jesus.

Some of us may feel the need to always be in control and struggle when we don’t have the control reins. This isn’t a healthy form of control, and in such cases the Lord may ask us to release the control reins to Him. This is not to be confused with ‘self-control’ which is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:23). Self-control is where we control our ‘self’. That means we have control over our tongue, body and actions. This is different to always wanting to be in control or to control others.

Control is linked to fear, for we may start to fear or panic when we no longer feel in control. Many of us have been challenged by the Lord to stop striving or doing things in our own strength, and release our control reins to Him. This is another area to be refined in our hearts, as we learn to trust Him, by fully surrendering our control reins to Him.

Daniel tells us that there are books or scrolls in Heaven that must be opened before the court of Heaven goes into session. Once the courts of Heaven are seated the books are opened and the court appears to come to session.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened. (Daniel 7:10)

We can clearly see that an understanding of ‘the books’ is foundational to court activity that allows God’s Kingdom purposes to be done.

So what are these books and what is written in them?

We are told in Psalm 139:16 that every person born has a book in Heaven.

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. (Psalm 139:16)

God wrote down in a book the destiny and Kingdom purpose for each of our lives. Each of us has a book written about them. Even Jesus had a book on which he came to fulfill while on earth.

God ‘saw’ us in our fleshly form in the Earth, before we ever existed. He saw our days. Not just the number of them, but He saw the activities in them and what we would accomplish in our life. Our individual book is a written record of all that God planned for us and the Kingdom impact He has destined for our lives.

Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me To do Your will, O God.’” (Hebrews 10:5-7)

Every battle including the sea monster is to get what is written in our book to manifest here on the Earth.

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books [that is, everything done while on earth]. Revelation 20:12

I have been waiting to release this word, as our seas are becoming more turbulent. I had a vision the sea monster was bumping our boats in curiosity!  It’s time to gain justice before we are shipwrecked and we can do this through the Courts of Heaven.

The Courts of Heaven are best described as a place of prayer & petition where we obtain justice from The Lord. Have you entered these courts?

This may not be a new revelation to you but more of a reminder and an important one. Many believer’s are stuck, I see their boat out a sea hung-up on a giant rock. The metaphor for the sea being their spirit, or like a dear friend shared, a delicate bird [spirit] flying and flying unable to go higher because there is a chain that needs to be broken in the spirit. They are either in waiting but getting weary being tested by God to seek the deeper things within their journey.  BUT to do this a breakthrough is needed. I know for a fact break through comes after visiting the court system.

A little insight to how Jesus Himself dealt with His enemies.

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war (NKJV). Revelation 19:11-21

Notice that Jesus in His righteousness judges then makes war. This is the divine order. A judge speaks of judicial activity, while making war speaks of going to the battlefield.

We can never win an earthly battlefield, until we have petition the judicial system of heaven. This is where judgments are issued and overcome through the heart of Jesus.

Scripture is full of references about the Courts of Heaven, both in the Old and New Testament. Let’s take a look; since we have been discussing Job, do you know he eventually presented his ‘case’ before God so he could be vindicated in Chapter 13:18.

David comments in Psalm 89:7, “In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared.”

Isaiah prophesied: ‘“Present your case” says the Lord. “Set forth your arguments” says Jacob’s king,’ (Isaiah 41:21).

Daniel had a vision where he saw the Ancient of Days seated at the throne, in the Courts of Heaven: ‘The court was seated and the books were open,’ (Daniel 7:9-10). Satan was waging war against the saints until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints. Once the verdict was declared in their favor in the Courts of Heaven, breakthrough occurred and victory was seen in the battleground on earth (Daniel 7:22-26).

When John was taken up to the throne in Revelation, he saw in the Spirit how the saints of God overcame the enemy: ‘For the Accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony’ (Revelation 12:11). I believe John is referring to the Courts of Heaven, where satan is seen as the accuser or prosecutor. Hence, the saints won their case and overcame the spiritual battle, through the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.

To give a testimony means to testify, or bear witness, as occurs in a courtroom setting.

Jesus is our Advocate or Defense, and John was the disciple who referred to Jesus in this manner. ‘But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense – Jesus Christ, the Righteous One (1 John 2:1, NIV). The same verse in the NLT says: ‘But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the One who is truly righteous.’

We are given the keys to battle by our Judge in the Book of Matthew 16 &18.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” bound in heaven by prayer must be bound on earth. (Matthew 16:19, 18:18)

I feel the power of God moving in this season.

We have all been taught a lot about the battle, but so little about the weapons in which to use in the battle. All those accused can be freed from years of harassment by the kingdom of darkness.

When I sat down to ask the Lord about the bumping of the sea monster of the boats at sea, He responded, “Victory”.

He wants his bride without spot or wrinkled and the sea monster out at sea is beginning to make waves. Ephesians 5:26-27 However, one of the things preventing our breakthrough is unconfessed sin.

In the Old Testament, battles weren’t won if there was sin in the camp (Joshua 7:11-13). Only when the sin was removed, then the battle was won. We must seek to know the truth like David and He prayed; ‘Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting,’ (Psalm 139:23).

In fact, many believers are being bumped by the sea monster right now causing them to go in circles.

We are told we must work out our salvation to allow the Spirit of The Lord to lead us in every area of our lives. Romans 13:11 . . . . .through Jesus, the presence of The Lord, his Spirit comes to guide us in every area of our life.

This takes living a life of radical faith and obedience to His Spirit.

Early on in my journey, The Spirit of the Lord showed me “working out my salvation ” happens in layers comparing the journey to the stages of a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Which is why I began signing my name with a butterfly đŸ¦‹ in hopes I would eventually get my colorful wings! My wings of color meant to abandon my life and live a life of radical faith and obedience to the His Spirit.

It’s really where all mysteries begin and we are able to encounter The Lord. Our thirst for more takes us higher and finally to the Cross of Jesus to live a resurrected life moving in the realms of His Glory.

But what about our hinderances? We all have them, they just look different from person to person but when we take a serious or truthful look at ourselves, we begin to hear the call of The Lord. My serious thirst began in 2003, but I did not surrender everything including my home until 2010. It was then that I was told to pursue him by reading and digesting His Word. Every time I tried to do something different, He would make me rest, until finally He claimed my sight! Sickness can be a way God makes us rest in Him but not always, often times, it’s the accuser who has found legal authority.

The Cross of Christ is our verdict but there are times we need to enforce this by entering into the justice system of God. We operate in the Courts of Heaven through prayer and an intimate relationship with the Lord.

We are given the right to can see every legal right of the devil revoked and removed that he is claiming against us. He can not harass us any longer. Sometimes, an issue may have various layers, and when the final layer is addressed, breakthrough is seen.

Take these petitions to the Courts of Heaven. Going to the courts in heaven will produce positive results for personal, family, business, health, ministry and even national results that are in agreement with the passion of God Himself.

Throughout the entire Bible, we see a pattern similar to a court of law. In fact, there are many verses in the Bible about this — and I encourage you to search them out. Once we understand some of the basic principles of the High Court in Heaven, we can expose and destroy our enemy.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

A great resource; author and pastor on the subject is Robert Henderson. He shares how he had been seeking the Lord and asking for a breakthrough in his son’s life, when the Lord told him to bring the issues to the Courts of Heaven. It was a huge breakthrough for his son because there were several areas of unconfessed sin.

A breakthrough can be as simple as asking for forgiveness of our sin.

Our boldness is an important ingredient for approaching the Throne of God. It demonstrates our confidence in the finished work of Christ and the goodness of God.

If we are fearful it actually works against us, giving the devil legal footing against us in the Courts of Heaven. This is why the Bible says a person who fears in not perfected in the love of God (1 John 4:18).

  • God is our Judge For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.   Isaiah 33:22  As Jesus said in the parable of Luke 18:8, God will “see that she gets justice, and quickly.

  • Jesus is our Mediator (attorney):  For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man is Christ Jesus.  1 Timothy 2:5 NIV.

  • Holy Spirit is our Witness: The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children and provides truth needed to plead our case.   Romans 8:16 NIV.

  • Satan is our Prosecutor:  For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.    Revelation 12:10b NIV.

  • We are Petitioners: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  Isaiah 43:26“let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence.”

I believe there is a record in Heaven about everything. For instance, I was asking the Lord would any words that were being spoken against me or my family be removed because I was sensing a major division or divider happening. I felt it was dealing with words, hanging in the atmosphere, that had been critical, judgmental and hinder towards myself within our family and close friends.

As soon as I did that, I suddenly was aware that a book was brought into the Courts, and examined, concerning my behavior, and what I had done. And in it, it was revealed in the books that I was innocent of that which was I was being accused of and so all the accusations could be silenced and removed.

Another example where the enemy loves to harass, but must have a legal foothold is in a believers finances. Pray about this because as soon as I asked God to reveal my hindrance, we received 6 letters on the same day in the mail. No joke! A quick story, The IRS had waited 7 years to reveal why they had been sending harassing letters, interest and late fees included. I had written and contacted the IRS during C19 and their response every single time even though they initiated the matter was that they were looking into it. Understand delays can be the enemy at work, but God is ultimately in charge and uses everything to refine us. Once I was able to contact a real person at the IRS, the matter was quickly resolved but not before entering the the Courts of Heaven. Once we take our petitions to the Judge in Heaven we can exonerated and the enemy is no longer allowed to work against us.

Others areas in which we must seek the higher court is when words we have spoken against ourselves or words that were spoken over us by others give the accuser access.

Can you see why believer’s prayers aren’t being answered because there are legal blockages. Paul tells us not to give the enemy a legal foothold through unconfessed sin (Ephesians 4:26-27).

There are many different types of Courts mentioned in the Bible and taking the time to understand them will make your petitions effective. Your interactions with the Lord in the Courtroom of Heaven are centered around prayer and intimacy. It is important to approach the Lord with grace and mercy toward others and ourselves. This is knowing and having God’s heart of love (1 John 4:8).

The Court of Mediation (Reconciliation)

“Settling outside of court” in the Court of Mediation should always be our first step in the process of gaining justice.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18 NKJV

Court of Petition

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 NIV

We already operate in the Courts of Heaven when we bring our prayers and petitions to the Lord. Notice that Paul says we need to do it with thankfulness and not a spirit of revenge.

The Throne of Grace

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 NIV

The Court of Mount Zion

The Throne of Grace and the Court of Petitions are linked to this court system. Most all your interactions take place here. Throughout the Bible, Mount Zion is a place of God’s justice and judgment.

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. Hebrews 12:22–24 NIV

 The Court of the Accuser

There are several verses in the Bible that show Satan accusing Jesus, Job and others in the Courts. The main one is: For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. Revelation 12:10 NIV

It’s important for us to not operate in the court of the accuser. This is a place of blame and we cannot resolve our case  by operating in a spirit of unforgiveness. There is no reconciliation.

Court of the Ancient of Days (Supreme Court)

The highest court in Heaven is the Ancient of Days court. This is equivalent to the Supreme Court in the U.S.

As I looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. ... The court was seated, and the books were opened. Daniel 7:9–10 NIV

This is the highest level court and you cannot go in. You can be taken in through visions and dreams, but this is not a place to present your case.

My prayer for you today is that the long-desired and sought-after breakthrough healing or miracle will be fulfilled over yourself and all that you love by entering the Courts of Heaven.

When you are ready for break through in specific areas of your life or the lives of others, please feel free to pray the attached Court of Heaven Prayer provided by John G. Lake Ministry.  I was desperate to see breakthrough and visited the healing rooms in Spokane, Washington in 2007. This was a powerful move because this ministry showed me how to pray for breakthrough, fasting and to wait to claim God’s promises after visiting the Court of Heaven.

I want to also encourage you to take communion or break bread with the Father in Heaven after you make your petition to the Courts to believe in faith your petition has been granted by The Blood of Jesus at the cross.

Get ready for a season of soul refreshing and healing and I thank the Lord in advance for his responce to the hearts of his people in Jesus name!
