YOUR DESTINY IS BIGGER THAN YOU

Our destiny is bigger than ourselves. It’s vital in 2026 that we take our calling seriously as it affects our families and those who surround us.  We are part of an ongoing strategy to live in His fullness. We do this by being saturated in the reality of Yashua so it drips from us everywhere we go. 

We can’t do this when we are sick… so who can heal us? We can!  You and I have the healing power of God inside of us. It extends to every part of us—spirit, soul, and body—so we can be whole. 

It’s God’s will for us to believe for something not even the best therapist can help us achieve—to be set free from the pain of a memory. God alone can do this. He can drain previous traumas of lingering poison because Yashua is the antidote. He is the One who still does miracles. He is the One who does the unimaginable. He is the One who sets us free! 

How do I know? See testimony of His healing my trauma. This week Yashua showed me there is more for the body to understand in the meaning of “laying of hands.”

In the Old Testament we are given a couple examples of “laying of hands” as a blessing and authority:

Genesis 22. Abraham was elected as head of a chosen race, and the promises were secured in him. These promises were inherited by the son who was elected by God to become the head in his generation, and were passed on by laying on of hands. 

Genesis 48:13-14. This was repeated when Israel laid his right hand upon Ephraim and his left hand on Manasseh. (The right hand is always the symbol of strength and honour).

In the New Testament, Jesus laid hands on sick people—and He definitely exhorted believers to lay hands on the sick, too. 

Jesus said in Mark 16:18, “they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” 

Jesus Christ Himself freely employed laying on of hands in healing people. Hebrews 6:1-3 and And he could not no miracles, but lay hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. Mark 6:5

Laying on of hands can be done in two ways: 

First, any believer can lay hands upon a fellow believer as a point of contact to release faith and expect that person to be healed. There are some people—neighbors and friends, for example—you can pray for whom no one else could. It also is scriptural for husbands and wives to lay hands on each other and for parents to lay hands on their children when they are sick, and expect them to be healed in the Name of Jesus. 

Second, there is such a thing as a ministry of laying on of hands—a special anointing. As God wills, a person can be supernaturally anointed with healing power like Jesus or Paul. When the person who has a ministry of laying on of hands lays hands on the sick in obedience to the spiritual Law of Contact and Transmission, his hands transmit God’s healing power into the body of the sick person, effecting a healing and a cure.

Why do I speak so boldly about it? Because Jesus Himself instructed me just this week after I was struggling with the spirit of infirmity. He wants His Body of believers to know that this is available to you too! Many of you are sick right now…. 

My testimony: I woke up pretty miserable with sores all around my mouth. These were not your usual cold sores but soars like you would see in a cancer or lupus patient. I couldn’t open my mouth without pain. Over my lifetime, I have battled a cold sore or two but never so many at once and I knew this was a spirit of infirmity. 

I began seeking the Lord for help. Yashua said draw a bath and soak in it. As I was soaking, He said “Lay your hands over your mouth and pray,” He continue to instruct me, “If you will believe and accept it, then My Anointing will flow from your hands into your body to drive out the sickness and the disease.” 

Since we have learned that human beings are actually antennas, silently and invisibly pick up signals —and numerous electromagnetic frequencies—just like a rabbit-ears antenna through our DNA. I believe sitting in the bath caused these fields that normally pass through me to be blocked by the water bath! Hallelujah! Yashua became my one and only focus and as I resonated on Him believing in healing, I partnered with Him—-becoming a generator transmitter of healing to cast out this spirit of infirmity!

Jesus explained to me the reason He was able to heal only a few persons in Nazareth—and then only those with minor ailments—was because they would not believe - unable to partner with Him. Unable to access His anointing for healing. Jesus told me, “I want your laying of your hands to be received by the power of the Holy Spirit.” He gave me the scriptural precedents of Acts 6:6, “Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.”

The doctrine of laying of hands has been confused by many denominations to just elders and deacons, but I really want to encourage you today that there are various facets. 

In Acts 6, seven men were selected to wait on tables, thus freeing the apostles to give themselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the Word. The apostles laid their hands on the seven, who were called deacons (“helpers” in the Greek). Laying on of hands is not limited, but please take notice that every instance in the Acts of the Apostles where people were filled with the Holy Spirit, they received by the laying on of hands. (Exceptions were the two spontaneous outpourings of the Spirit in Acts 2 and 10.)

You and I are are disciples of Christ, helpers who are filled with the Holy Spirit, therefore it takes faith to believe who YAH says we are.. and this week through Christ I was healed. 

The next morning, the intense pain was gone and over half of my sores were healed and I kept professing healing over my mouth for the next few days. I also had my husband and my son pray over me just as we are told to do in the scriptures.

If you are struggling with the spirit of infirmity? Please consider drawing a bath, lay hands upon your flesh and partner with Yashua for healing. When we ask and have belief for our healing by coming out of agreement with the spirit of sickness, we shall be delivered by “laying of His Hands.”

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. Acts 13:2-3

Who we are and are meant to be is found as we live for YAH. Your destiny is wrapped up in Christ. He is your inheritance. His glory is the destiny we’re meant to pass along! The life we live in His presence must be imparted to our children (physical and spiritual). It’s so important that we share the wisdom and revelations He’s is giving to us by walking in freedom.

Father, there’s so much on my mind. So many things I could pray about, but instead, I simply want to be with you. To sense your tangible presence as you manifest yourself. To honor you with an attentive heart. Speak to me. I’m listening…… [wait until you hear what He has to say…. Journal what you hear.]
