RIVER GUIDE - CAPRICE WINDS

Spiritual purity comes
from the hand of GOD through the Holy Spirit working thur you Isaiah 1:25

God’s Spirit comes to reside inside those who diligently seek and hunger after HIM. Our Father in Heaven has some wonderful things planned for those who allow for His Power to cleanse and operate in their lives.

Our fleshy efforts will fail us every time and leave us wanting. No code of ethics will be sufficient. . . no matter how well intended we are, or how strict we are to rules - - our efforts will be defeated unless we are guided by His Spirit.

But first, we must allow Him access.

Think about any given day. Where do your emotions reside? If unsure, take a day to identify how you feel throughout that day. Then at the end of the day, how do you feel?

What did you find? Were you settled and at peace?

Most of us don’t really want to face the true condition of our heart and mind, so our natural tendency is to avoid such questions.

But self-examination is crucial for our spiritual growth.

The Apostle Paul addresses this issue in his letter to the church to encourage them to examine themselves. In the Book of Romans, He said don’t copy the worlds behavior and customs, but let God transform you to be good and pleasing to Him.

It’s obvious that we don’t have much ability to change ourselves. Not that it is impossible, but for us to change, there usually needs to be some type of outside influence or pressure to make us become willing to change.

Scripture plainly tells us that the only way to change spiritually is to put God in charge of our transformation.

We must let God do our changing.

It wasn’t until I put myself under God’s control because I was completely fed up with myself that I began to change spiritually. Again, I’m a work in progress, but it is by God's standard that we must examine ourselves.

Paul goes on to tell us what we gain from this spiritual change. If we let Him change us, we will begin to understand what God's Will is for our lives.

This change takes the Power of God, not our individual will powerThis is when we can experience true peace and contentment.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts. Psalms 139:23

If we are unwilling to be spiritually changed, we are like Pharaoh in Exodus who had a hardened heart.  And we are unable to answer His Call.

The best illustration I know is God gave Pharaoh a hardened heart seventeen times in the Book of Exodus. If we take a look at the Hebrew words for Hardened Heart it is not referring to the physical organ of the body, but of the mind and will.

Pharoh’s hardened heart, is referring to his will and thoughts being opposed to God’s Will. The Hebrew word for hardened means heavy, weighty, or burdensome. Pharoh’s mind was weighed down by many things because he was the ruler of many nations and had absolute power over the people. If he had allowed God to transform his mind, we would have a very different story to read when Moses parted the Red Sea.

Citizens, we need to be brave enough to ask God to search our heart. He searches our heart (mind & will) when we are willing to be called to answer His questions.

Beware, God already knows what is in our hearts. By allowing Him to search our hearts, He will expose the things we have wanted to keep hidden by shining His light over them.

This can be very uncomfortable, but spiritually changing.

When we let Him search us, we begin to see ourselves as He sees us, which is very different from the way we see ourselves.

Allowing Him to question us is an important step for us to be changed. We cannot merely hear the Lord’s questions. We must also be ready to answer Him. We do this by reading His Word. His Word is alive, active and sharp. His Spirit moves within us when we read it.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

God’s questions judge the attitudes of our hearts. They will penetrate our very soul. He sees us and pierces our conscience mind making us feel convicted, which is a gift from God.

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrew 4:13

You see the real conflict is within us. The battle we fight is with ourselves. Our struggle to change the way we think. The Lord’s questions strike at our flesh carnal man and awaken our spirit creating an inner conflict!

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Galatian church about this, saying, “For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other.”

To Answer His Call, we must be touched by His Holy Spirit.

It takes the power of His Spirit to accomplish this within each of us. So then they that are in flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:8.

Without His Spirit the enemy controls our hearts and minds. Satan has a way of using our pride against us. Our pride blinds us of our true nature and sins.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

The goal of Satan is to keep us from the Love of God. If he can keep us from recognizing our sins, short circuiting the Holy Spirit, then we can never enter the presence of God.

Satan does this by confusing our thoughts by hiding the truth.  Jesus tells us he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44. It’s so true, do you agree?

Our sin suppresses the truth of God. We tend to surround ourselves with like minded people. If you are having trouble with unbelief, you are probably hanging out with people who deny God. Or maybe your fear of the unknown has caused your unbelief. This too is a trick of the enemy by snaring us to worry about the future.

If you spend a lot of time watching or reading things that cause fear, unbelief takes root.  Pharaoh did not have time for God because he himself was his own god! We must make time to seek the things of God or our fear will take the drivers seat making us our own lil god. Our fear means we do not trust God and this insults The Father.

This took ages for me to actually understand and overcome.

I began to search out the truth by reading His Word every day and slowly, letting the words sink within my soul.

I learned to search out books that spoke of God’s goodness, like Tozer, Oswald Chambers and Fenelon. These truths began to take root within my heart. My discernment a gift of the Holy Spirit began to take hold to help identify falsities. I would ask myself, does this bring peace?  If yes, keep reading or watching if no, stop immediately and find something that does cultivate peace. I had to take time to invest in activities that built up my belief of God not tear Him down.

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Genesis 3:6

Through out the Bible, we read story after story of man choosing to reject God. Adam and Eve did not choose truth and thousands of years after their first sin in the garden, Jesus shares with His Disciples how to find the way back to God.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

To enter the narrow gate, we must yield to our flesh and become His Overcomers” stated in Revelation 3:21 Conquered all sin and sit with Yahshua on His Throne.”

Let us not forget, Jesus opened the scriptures to us by His Resurrection and by sending His Gift, the Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul tells us again in 1 Corinthians 2:12-14.

What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[a] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:12-14

Prior to Jesus, David knew to pray for the sciputres to open in Psalm 119:18, "Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.  Once the scriptures are open to us, this is the beginning of our journey to answer God’s questions and His son Jesus is revealed to us.

Remember, I mentioned earlier we needed an outside influence to change spiritual?

Well, while preparing this post, I was given a short vision from The Lord regarding a coming influence.

VISION

I was in a library with so many books. I knew I was in heaven because I have been here before and the enormousness of this room is just extraordinary. There are shelves and shelves of books lining the walls. These tall shelves went from the floor almost to the ceiling, but just above each shelf right before the ceiling there are windows and a brilliant ray of light shined down on the heavenly Saints who were studying their open books at various tables.

I looked down to see an old wooden floor beneath my feet and two scraps of white crumbled up paper that looked like they were thrown to the floor. Just as I thought who would do that, a breeze of wind blew them across the floor. As they blew across the floor, I felt a spiritual death and I heard, I AM cleaning the floor with My Caprice Wind.

Citizens, while seeking The Father's presence with fasting and prayer he indicated we will not be blown away like crumpled up paper by His Winds if we take the time to seek The Lord. We must wait for him to come and question our hearts. He said my wayward children must turn away from their disobedient behavior or they will be swayed by a sudden action or caprice wind.

(Caprice means sudden change of mind by an unpredictable action).

WORD FROM THE LORD

Child come now, do you hear My Voice?

You shall hear My Voice through your thoughts.

Keep going... past your own thoughts until I AM within you.

You must look past all your affairs to find Me, waiting.

I AM opening this now for you.

You are not alone and I have not forsaken you.

This is your Father Speaking.

Your mind and heart must come together as one to meet Me here.

The vastness of these water you are entering go beyond any imagination.

Come Here My Wayward Child.

To learn My Character and the essence of My Son’s Love.

In this place, you will find My Everlasting peace and comfort in My Coming Winds.

Enter My Deep Waters where My Spirit hovers.

He comes with guidance and understanding and wisdom.

Practice entering My Presence in your daily life.

Abide in My TRUTH.

Test every spirit and I shall give you a pure & noble heart to heal your troubled soul.

Honor Me, as many good things shall be given to thee.

You are My Treasure in which I hold Dear, loving you.

My Father’s Narrow Gate has opened to His Inner Court.

Step in with an open heart to eat at My Table and enjoy the splendor of My Feasts.

Your ROCK, Redeemer & Bridegroom, Yahshua

As I pray over this message, the Holy Spirit reminded me, we are His SALT & LIGHT of the earth, without His remnant, creation ceases to exist. Therefore, we must search our hearts continually to repent of any sin. Repenting quickly. We cannot enter Yahshua's presence with any iniquities. Listen for His Holy Spirit to guide you. If you can’t pray, there is a blockage. Quiet your mind and listen for His Spirit's whisper to inform you of your hindrance that needs your attention.

Forgive those that persecute you as we are forgiven.

Seek & Abide in The Father with all your mind, heart and soul. Jesus came to Purify our hearts and soul through the grace of God. We must access that powerful grace by going to God to receive his teachings, convictions, and power to remove any sin from our hearts. We access His Power by waiting on Him. Don’t expect Him to come right away, nothing happens with God in a hurry!

Be Encouraged, Stay the course, Go to Him, Wait! I had to wait a whole summer to hear, but He came with His power of victory, so I could overcome.

He showed me there are three sources to His power that is being released to purify you: 1) power in the true hope and gospel, 2) power in the inward cross of self denial, and 3) the power in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah!

Shalom
