READY YOURSELF I AM COMING

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost. John 20:22

Often time we are traveling along on our own personal journey living unintentional with The Lord but today the Lord is saying, “Wait and reflect on 2 Timothy 2”.

As I meditate on these verses in the Book of Timothy 2, it’s through our struggles, we are given the gift that becomes our seal, to rule and reign with Christ!

Have you received God’s Gift?

Yahweh is asking each of us to “pause ourselves” and ask His Holy Spirit, “Have you come?”.

Listen….If you do no hear or feel a witness, you are to begin praying for His Gift! We are told to ask! The Father is more willing to give His Gift, than we are to give good things to our own kids. That’s a fact!

This is an eternal promise, given by Jesus Himself and I want to encourage you today to claim it right now as our own.

Receive ye the Holy Spirit” (John 20:22).

We are told the reward is sent from Heaven and is for every faithful sufferer.

His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master!' Matthew 25:21

Our journey includes suffering and we hate suffering, but we must endure it, if we are to cross the finish line to be sealed! Hebrew 12:1-17

Our suffering means we’ve entered the hidden stone path that winds past the garden in my last vision

You are definitely worthy to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, so renounce any negative voices from the enemy. Without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we are like the barren fig tree Jesus speaks to in Mathew 21:18-21.

As we suffer according to the rules, we win the prize that comes with victory (2 Tim v. 5).

VISION

Meditating on these verses of victory, a picture of a garland wreath appears within my mind that was used in the races and I see thousands of believers dressed as athletes waiting on a track finish line. I watch as a white robed man, Yahshua, stops in front of every victor placing a garland crown on each one’s head in triumph!

My sights expands and I can see thousands of believers waiting at the finish line to receive their garland crown and The Lord is saying “Ready yourself, I AM Coming!

The coming of the Spirit is the crowning act of God’s blessings to men on earth.

The Holy Spirit is our seal and earnest gate to heaven.

Those who have the Holy Spirit are blessed above all men for they have a treasure in them that transcends all other treasure!

Jerome, a fourth-century biblical scholar, says:Christ’s athlete is not crowned unless he has competed according to the rules, unless he has accepted and sustained the challenge, unless his face is black and blue from the fray and bathed in blood. It is the discolored bruises that deserve a crown, and suffering and pain that merit joy” (Jerome Commentary, p. 243).

The Message Bible says, we are to run the race like a well-furnished kitchen that contains not only crystal dishes and silver platters but waste cans & compost bins. If we are to serve God, treat him as a fine diner and know when to take out the garbage. We are to become His container that can use to present every kind of spiritual gift. 2 Timothy 2:20 MSG 20-21

A spirit filled believer will share in the anointing that Jesus enjoys as the Christ, the “anointed one” (Acts 10:34–431 John 2:20, 27).

And through consecration of the Master Gardener each one will eventually fulfill the prophetic, priestly, and kingly roles for which they were born and anointed by Our Savior. (Matt. 28:18–20Rom. 12:1–2Rev. 17:1–14).

So YAH’s question today comes just as it did to those men of Ephesus in the Book of Acts, “Have you had the fiery baptism?”

Pause yourself? Do you feel a witness to this question?

And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus; and finding certain disciples, he said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Spirit since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Spirit. Acts 19:1-2

Are you filled with the Holy Spirit?

This question is important to our Father in Heaven. He has delayed His Coming because his people are not ready!

He is reminding us that there is an invisible sealing of the heart when we accept Jesus as our Savior. However, there is a second sealing of our minds [forehead] when we are transformed by His Blood — this is the fiery baptism of the Holy Spirit!

This seal is a visible transformation. It’s display turns our fear into joy, our doubt into belief and our grief into hope. Acts 16

However, this seal is through the work of our redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord must turn away from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:19

If you can not honestly say you are positively sealed —there is hope! Hang on…  because it’s coming and maybe as late as fall! I was given a dream of a huge navy ship sinking while rain and snow was falling.

I heard the Lord say, “there are many sinking ships at sea”!

Ships represent believers and sea water represents hardship.

Saints, by reading God’s Word, we are transformed. We are restored in unity with God through His Spirit as He intended prior the fall in the Garden of Eden.

Paul pulls aside the veil somewhat in a beautiful passage in Col. 1:9-10, where he says that his prayer for the Colossians is that they “might be filled with a knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”

Notice how deep down in realities these words go. Instead of praying that they might be blessed with some material blessing he goes to the heart of things and prays that they may know the deep will of God and have wisdom and knowledge of spiritual things.

Until one has this guidance of the Holy Spirit in prayer and his help in the creation of desire he is liable to waste much effort in prayer. There is much praying that lacks point because it is so divergent from the will of God. Our prayers become affective when we are in harmony with God’s purposes. This point is verified by a word of James’: “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts” (Jas. 4:3).

Start by taking everything I have shared to God in prayer.

“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Phil.4:6

Supplication is prolonged prayer where God does not immediately answer, but it takes perseverance and faith to know he will eventually come with an answer.

A lesson of perseverance comes by way of King David who attempted to teach us how to wait in Psalms by saying, “Wait on the Lord” Ps 27:14, 37:7.

We are to learn to wait, learn and pray without ceasing.

I have a sign I made a decade ago to remind myself, “His Will, His Way, My Faith”!

That’s why we are told, the 144,000 are present but not sealed during “ tribulation (Matthew 24:9-14) and present but sealed during the 1st and 2nd Woes of “ great tribulation (Matthew 24:15-31).

Christ declared in his fixed determination to send His Spirit. “I will send him.” He can send nothing better nor greater than His Spirit!

The possession of the Holy Spirit assures one of constant peace, power, and victory.

Let me ask again, “Have you confidently received the Holy Spirit?”

And he said to them, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.” Mark 9:9

If not, spend time in consecrated prayer and let your faith prepare the way for His Coming.  Begin with  —- “O my soul, receive ye the Holy Spirit,

He comes, yes, he comes, he fills my soul.

One of the first things the incoming of the Holy Spirit imparts is earnestness in prayer. He sets up an altar of prayer in the heart where he dwells and often calls that heart to prayer, maybe by placing a burden which can’t be lifted until released in prayer!

Have you wondered in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 9: 4 that an angel is carrying the seal, which is obviously a different seal than the sealing of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of redemption. This sealing is also visual —being on their foreheads this is the baptism of the Holy Spirit!

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

Say YES today to the Spirit’s Fiery Baptism!

Receive the Holy Spirit (John 20:22).”

Let us Pray to receive our seal upon our forehead!

Father God in heaven, please remove any hinderance within me that is stopping Your Holy Spirit from being received by me.  Please, help me to open wide my heart to welcome Your Divine guest within me. Thank you Father for Your Holy Spirit that is being sent from Heaven for there is nothing better nor greater than Christ who declared, “I will send him.”  I pray this in Jesus Name Mighty Name, Amen!

We shall praise & worship the Name of the Lord until, “He Comes”? Hallelujah!

My sincerest blessings to each of you as you prepare the way for His Coming, if he hasn’t already come! There is No greater blessing than being infilled by God’s very own Gift. It is the supreme gift, the richest and best in all the realm of heaven or the kingdom of God on earth!

“O my soul, receive ye the Holy Ghost. “He comes, yes, he comes, he fills my soul.”
