VISION OF TARRY

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you. Luke 17:5-6; Matthew 17:19

My Vision:  

I was studying Scripture when I was given a picture of a ship’s staircase leading down into it’s galley. I felt it was a large galley and the food on display was not only for our nourishment but to boost our morale during the voyage.

As I meditated on this galley image for a few days, I felt the Spirit’s nudge that this was visible evidence of God's work within the life of His Elect. It was a vast space filled with Christlike qualities—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—which are not produced through human effort alone but through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I felt this space was The Lord looking at our hearts. He sees if there is something deep down under, if there is an endeavor to express “love” to others. 

I was shown while there may be misapprehension, there may be ignorance, there may be causes to which we are have been offended when dealing with others, but this was only part of YHWY’s concern. You see we are the Elect, and we need to spread His Love now more than ever before! 

It’s feels complicated because religion has divided His people. We are to see while loving others that their way of showing their love for the Lord, – might be different than ours, we must get close to them and find what possibilities there are for increasing love for The Lord. 

YWHY is going on, He is not giving up; He is making all He possibly can of the least bit of heart love for Himself and for all men. 

The challenge of this is very practical and very searching for us.

“Put to death, therefore, whatever  belongs to your earthly nature...” —  Colossians 3:5

In the Book of Colossians, Paul warns and exposes the believers against being deceived by empty philosophies and human controls that are contrary to Christ. Jesus was often eating and drinking with corrupt tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. 

If we skip over to Habakkuk, Chapter 2:verse 3 we read, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come; It will not tarry.” 

This verse, nestled within the dialogue between the prophet Habakkuk and God, carries profound significance and offers valuable insights into patience, faith, and divine timing. To truly understand Habakkuk 2:3, we must consider its context, meaning, and implications for our lives.

“Though the vision tarry, wait for it…it will not delay.” — Habakkuk 2:3

Is it possible to enter the galley aboard YWHY’s ship with an unveiled lens?  

Our galley must be a place where the veil of identity is torn. It is where the performance ends. Where the striving ceases. It is where we remember that resurrection only follows surrender. We enter the Gospels—not as biographies of a distant Savior, but as the living flame of Christ. This is not the beginning of Christ. This is Christ made visible. What was veiled in tabernacle and symbol is revealed in you ——walking, breathing, and loving others.

“Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things  above...” — Colossians 3:1

Every breath becomes an altar and every moment, a resurrection.  

We die to the illusion and rise into truth.  

Let death be daily. 

Let rising be eternal.  

The Cross is not a one-time event. 

It is of letting go ——to ride every wave or storm with Christ while surrender looks like entering the ships galley filled with the fruits of Christ.

It’s not about killing the body or suppressing desire—it’s about allowing His Light to gently dissolve who you were yesterday. 

Letting go of fear, shame, and false stories.  

Letting go of control—and letting His Presence take form— resurrection is not a once-a-year, it is your very breath. 

Every day, something in you is born again. 

When you take up your cross, everything begins to change. 

You no longer live to be seen. 

You no longer need to be right. 

You no longer chase purpose—you become Presence. 

It is not an act of willpower.  

It is the yielding of your will to the will of God.

We are Not climbing to God, but descending into truth—into the still, radiant silence. Where the presence of God is found, and where “you” dissolve and only Christ in you remains.  Hallelujah!

To take up your cross is to say: Let the old fall, to tarry by letting the masks burn, to let only love remain. 

It is a sacred surrender, not to be performed, but to be embodied to become the inward echo of Gethsemane: Not my will, but Thine be done. 

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Thank You for making peace with You possible through Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Help us to fully trust in the finished work of Christ and to rest in the assurance of our salvation. 

Remove any guilt, fear, or condemnation that keeps us from enjoying fellowship with You or those you have set in our path and in our families. Teach us to live each day in the confidence that we have entered your Ship’s galley where we have been reconciled through Your Son to enjoy the fruits of your Kingdom. May your love greatly increase our love for each other and for all people just as Yeshua does for us each day.

May the peace we have with You become the foundation for every area of our lives, every relationship in our lives to bring glory to Your name.
