YAH’S FRUIT BASKET

Their strength is to sit still. (Isaiah 30:7 KJV)

It's huckleberry season in North Idaho. If you have never heard about or eaten these tart red and purple berries than let me just say they are delicious! These wild mountain berries are smaller than a blueberry and sweeter than a cranberry. They are highly sought after and honestly, we locals can be a bit obsessive over them. After all, they’re our famous ingredient in pancakes, tart pies, muffins, syrups, milkshakes and jams. These are so special, we have to hike to find them because they grow in the underbrush in higher altitudes where there’s been a lot of snow throughout the winter.

This week, as I hiked several miles to find these magical berries, I thought about how similar we are because they can't be transplanted or grown anyplace other than where YAH has planted them. I find it’s a comforting thought… although some have tried, there is no reliable method to cultivate huckleberries in mass. But that is part of what makes this fruit so magical – you need to go out and forage in high mountain country to find them.

Do you realize you were planted right where you are?

Today, YAH is asking you to hike to higher ground where the best fruit can be found. Step-over the threshold towards Him -- get ready to go up the mountain for your season of fruit is upon you!

It’s been about your endurance that has cultivated this season of abundance [like the Ironwood] and a huge basket of fruit is about to be revealed to you.

"a basket of summer fruit" There is a word play in the Hebrew text between the word for "fruit" and the word for "end" (Daniel 8:17,19; 11:40; 12:4,6).

In the Book of Daniel and Amos, we find summer fruit is the last fruit of the season, and ripens quickly by the heat [refinement] of YAH's hand. Are there things in the dark that you need to face?

I feel many things hidden in the darkness are ending and it’s a time of divine intervention. Hallelujah!

When we read Isaiah 33:9, we are told fruitful, productive areas would become deserts. Meaning, we must lay it all down in order to experience Lebanon which is known for its huge cedars which stand for strength, durability, and majesty, symbolizing the beauty and grandeur of God's creation, Sharon was known for it’s fertile plains and Bashan was known for its productive prosperity in grain and cattle. Carmel was thickly forested and can be compared to your inner garden within your heart.

The imaginary of each city can be found within you. I want to encourage you to look into these 4 cities; Lebanon, Sharon, Bashan and Carmel up in Hebrew and Greek.

As you yield your mind, yield your time, yield your spirit and yield your life to God, the way you think and act will change. Our yielding becomes the fragrance of Yashua inside of us that becomes our propelling power of love in this dying world.

As we let Him come and take us into abandonment of His presence of yielded love, we enter into a place of yielded joy because we will know who He is. It’s very exciting!

As I was worshiping this weekend, I had a vision.

It was a picture of a Overcomer being moved into place and as they stepped forward the land mass beneath their feet began locking into another land mass like a puzzle to make one big solid land mass.

I heard a lock click open and a door opened into a room full of  solid gold treasurer boxes. I heard click, click --- click as the locks to theses boxes began opening and their lids were popped open.

YAH wants to take our lives and breathe in and through them to make us one land mass to include our mind, our body, our soul & spirit! Meditate on this…..

When we are filled with the glory, we are so yielded and transformed that we believe He is who He says He is, and we bear fruit that brings Him joy.

DREAM

It’s snowing and I’m walking up a small snowy hill to my car when just outside my car there is a gray goat with long hair. He stood there waiting by the passenger side of my sadan.

I am thinking to myself, that goat will not be getting a ride from me! As I get into my car, Jesus gets into the passenger side and even though I can’t actually see him, His light is there and I feel his love towards me. I see him place both His hands on my dash as He says, “Come on, let’s go up the Mountain.”

I start the engine of my car and we are now driving up this steep beautiful snow filled mountain road.

I am excited! Jesus and I are traveling together and I just left my sinful goat behind us and I wake up.

When I was given this dream, I had not been healed or delivered yet! I waited on The LORD to reveal the meaning of the goat, but the true meaning took time and nothing is instant when we have blind spots. In fact, as I share this with you, it was during a time when I was being taught patience. His Spirit comes with an explanation one bread crumb at a time and it’s our job to collect and research them. Hallelujah!

Today, I know the hairy goat represents my yielding to YAH. We are all aware of our sin, but driving up the mountain means we are headed to Lebanon, this is a spiritual city within each of us. It’s where we become intentional to our individual sin. We decide to come clean and the snow represents purity or purifying my soul through an intimate relationship with Yashua. Only He can heal us and we have to yield to Him.

Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains of Lebanon. The steepness and ruggedness discourage us, so we stay in the mist of the valleys and never learn the mystery of the hills.

We do not know until His Spirit comes what has been lost by our self-indulgence, what glory awaits if we only have the courage to climb, or what blessings we will find if we will only ascend the mountains of YAH!

Start yielding today… if you haven’t already, I know surrender looks different for all of us and sometimes the hardest things to surrender are not things at all. It might mean letting go of a toxic relationship in one situation by repositioning your life and setting healthy boundaries. In another situation, surrender might look more like letting go of control and surrendering completely to YAH the person or thing you have allowed to take a higher place in your heart. Sometimes surrender looks like taking action to cut off what is destructive, and other times it has more to do with a heart stance of being yielded to Him.

Inner stillness is turning off the noise that shapes your thoughts and allowing the Spirit of The Lord flow through you. That’s how we can receive from YAH and I am sharing an early entry in my journal!

WORD from the LORD

Stand in my wind, let it brush up against you to wash away debris as the wicked has been detained by My Mighty Winds. For those waiting, have courage as you are about to be consumed by RUAH HaKODESH meaning Holy Spirit.

In Hebrew, "Ruach" (רוּ×—ַ) means wind, breath, or spiritThe concept of Ruach encompasses not only a literal breath or wind but also the divine presence, creative force, and sustaining power of God.

Receive My Abundance, says the Lord

There's a fragrance to My Wind - breathe Me in ... taking a deep breathe and releasing it causes your Spirit to rise, says YAH for I AM within you.

My Kingdom must be opened with you, you must make yourself available to me.

You are not lacking, for my treasures are not found in the world's system... Your true system is found in ME, says YAH.

At My Table, we shall break bread together, dipping each bite into the bowl of salt sitting between us, while sipping My Wine. Saturate yourself with Me for My wine is truly divine.

At My table, you are forgiven, you are chosen, therefore you are holy & part of My Priesthood through Yashua, your high priest!

Have you taken off your Sandals? Put on your New Robe to be worn in this hour.

Ropes of hope are being hung like tassels on the collar of your robes.

Buttons of righteousness are sewn like badges of honor.

Your sleeves are frayed by the work of your prayers over the last decade (your elbows folded in prayer on the table or when you kneel at bedtime) and ACTS 19 [transfiguration] is happening now in My Stillness.. mediate on this as I am about to open doors of opportunity for you,

I see you …. With Great Love, Your Father in Heaven

I remember learning to yield during a time of great crisis in my life. My entire being seemed to throb with anxiety, especially during the night when I should be sleeping. The sense of need for immediate and powerful action was overwhelming. Yet the circumstances were such that I could do nothing, and the person who could have helped would not move. For a time it seemed as if I would fall to pieces due to my inner turmoil.

Then in a whisper, I heard, 1 Kings 19:12 KJV. I quickly opened my Bible and read the verse, “a still small voicewhispering in the depths of my soul, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Ps. 46:10).

His Words that didn't come by words but a washing over my thoughts in such power that my anxiety filled soul obeyed. I was able to compose myself to bring my body to complete stillness, forcing my troubled spirit into quietness. I was learning to Let-go and it happened right before my big breakthrough [healing] in my life.

Only then, while looking up and waiting, did I know that it was YAH who had spoken. He was there waiting to embrace me in the midst of my crisis and my helplessness and I was able to rest again in Him.

This was an experience I would not have missed for anything. It was from the stillness that the power seemed to arise to deal with my crisis, and very quickly brought it to a successful resolution.

Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever” (Ps. 125:1).

It was during this crisis I effectively learned that my “strength is to sit still.”

Let me say, there is a difference between quiet tension or compressed anxiety and perfect passivity is not laziness.

It’s living in stillness born of trust.

Once we reach this point, we will stop seeking sympathy for our difficult situation or ill treatment, because we will recognize these things as the necessary conditions for blessings [fruit].

We will then turn from our circumstances to God, realizing they are the evidence of Him working in our lives. This is the secret of knowing God’s complete sufficiency is in coming to the end of everything in ourselves and our circumstances.

The whole question for the overcomer can be expressed like this: YAH shall touch everything; your heart, your mind, soul and spirit. He must have all of it!

He wants all of you and to truly become an Overcomer, He will get it -- through you, whatever it costs, you will eventually willingly surrender it all!

As you set aside time to simply love on Yashua with no other agenda, I pray that face-to-face encounters are released. I pray for great grace on your life as you embrace the gift of silence. May the fire of God fall on you and burn away anything holding you back from being fully absorbed in His presence. May the love of God compel you to turn your eyes upon Yashua always.

How to Be Still —-spend fifteen (or more) minutes in silence each day this week.

Just focus on the face of Jesus and being absorbed in His presence.

Use Psalm 27 as your text if you want to include a reading.

Invite the Holy Spirit to come and rest upon you.

Welcome the fire of God to come and burn away anything that would distract you.

Spend time listening to His heart.

Enjoy this journey and give yourself tons of grace.

Silence and waiting on God is a lost art and hard to do at first, but with practice it gets easier. Your only goal here is to be with Jesus and to behold His beauty, not to pray or to get breakthrough or anything else.

Journal afterward (not during) about how it was for you, what you felt and what God showed you during that time.
